Committee Update – July 1

Dear Abbington neighbors,

The Clubhouse Committee will no longer be exploring options for upgrading our recreation area. This effort originally came about when a group of homeowners volunteered to explore ideas for renovations to the common area of our beautiful neighborhood. It was never supposed to be anything more than an information gathering expedition and a presentation to our neighbors of possibilities and ideas.

Unfortunately, due to the increasingly divisive and upsetting nature of the conversation surrounding this effort, the HOA Board and Committee have decided it is best if we cease efforts for this cause. As of July 1, this committee is disbanded and will no longer continue exploring ideas.

Abbington is a wonderful place to live and, in my opinion, still the best neighborhood in Apex. No improvements are needed for that to remain the case. We truly are so lucky.

Thank you for listening to our updates, and our apologies to anyone upset by our efforts. That was certainly never the intent. See you at the pool!
